Rapper 50 Cent’s not exactly thrilled with a recent NYPD report that found no wrongdoing done by an officer who ordered to have him shot “on sight” last year. And as a reminder for the few out there who may not see the problem here, even El Chapo wasn’t shot on sight given his crimes. We have due process in America. With that being said, the incident arose because he defended a friend that was a club owner that was being extorted by 72nd Precinct Deputy Inspector Emmanuel Gonzalez asking for thousands in vacations, etc or face the threat of his establishment being shut down. During roll call with other officers at a boxing match 50 was present at, Gonzalez called for him to be shot “on sight.”

The findings reflected in the investigation was that it was simply a joke in poor taste and not a threat. His response on social media was “I knew they were not going to do anything about this,so I stop talking about it. NYPD is hands down the toughest gang in New York.” And him being upset is understandable because if you looked at the news and saw an officer ordered to have you shot, you’d be pretty upset yourself. He threatened to move his businesses out of the state of New York when it happened but it isn’t clear if he followed through with the threat. Now that nothing is going to happen in the form of repercussions, this would be a good time to do so. Floyd Mayweather’s been keeping their beef alive between the two of them listing rappers who have businesses more successful than his this weekend. If he gets out of the high tax state of New York, his businesses might actually do better. See, we’re trying to help you out, Fif.
