Aubrey O’Day made the astonishing claim on Twitter that she was forced to disrobe on a plane in front of everyone and requested the flight attendant, who she named to be fired. She said she felt “like a punished lil child in timeout the entire flight” after being forced to undress in front of an entire plane because the flight attendant “didn’t like my shirt.” Apparently she wore a shirt with the word “F*ck” in large bold letters that had caused some commotion getting on the plane and was asked to change it. After stating she didn’t have another shirt, she was asked to turn it inside out… but not in front of everyone. That means she could have gone in the bathroom. Instead, she voluntarily chose to do so in front of everyone exposing her bra. One witness said when she was asked to change, she said she would post about the incident on social media.
American Airlines told US Magazine, “We are reviewing the situation, and have reached out to Ms. O’Day to get more information,” regarding this. They asked for her flight information on Twitter to help, but she said, “I gave you his name. I literally have no interest in dealing with your airline any further. I’m offended and disturbed. I wish I took @JetBlue.” And while O’Day might have been a little dramatic in her handling of the situation, how much harm can a shirt with the F word on on it cause? An Alaska Airlines flight to Los Angeles was just diverted this week to Kansas after a man in coach asked to use the First Class restroom and said he would kill everyone including the pilot for not accommodating his request. Those are the incidents that should be causing delays and not profane shirts. If I found out I had been delayed over someone wearing an offensive t-shirt, I’m certain I wouldn’t be happy about it.
never have I flown & had the steward treat me like a punished lil child in timeout the entire flight.. including making me undress in front of the entire plane because he didn’t like my shirt & made me turn inside out in order to fly. @AmericanAir JAMES RUSSO NEEDS TO BE FIRED.
