When Generation Z and who they look up to and envy is thought of, Bella Hadid comes to mind. After all, she’s the daughter of Yolanda Hadid and in a family of gorgeous models. What isn’t known is that she spents time crying everyday according to a post she just shared to Instagram. Along with a number of photos of herself, she posted them with the caption, “For anyone struggling, please remember that. Sometimes all you’ve gotta hear is that you’re not alone,” she wrote in a lengthy caption. “So from me to you, you’re not alone. I love you, I see you, and I hear you.”

She described her mental health journey as that of a roller coaster with “ups and downs” and “sides to sides.” She continued, “There is always light at the end of the tunnel , and the rollercoaster always comes to a complete stop at some point…[but] it does get better.” She also said she’s had “enough breakdowns and burnouts” to know that “if you work hard enough on yourself, spending time alone to understand your traumas, triggers, joys, and routine, you will always be able to understand or learn more about your own pain and how to handle it. Which is all that you can ask of yourself.” And she finished off by thanking her fans.
Just this past January she took a social media break for her mental health writing at the time, “I am only here to be an instrument of peace & love to help people that suffer and hopefully the world, in time,” she captioned a series of photos via Instagram. “Take time to get help for your mental health. It’s worth it to get to your full potential.”
She’s proof that having it all is simply the grass being greener on the other side. You never know what people are going through.
