Bill Cosby came home this week and upon his release, he attended a press conference wearing a t-shirt from the Pennsylvania High School he attended and returned to speak at their graduation in the 90s. The problem is the class president from that year wasn’t happy about seeing him wear it on television.
“Mr. Cosby made a statement by selecting that shirt, namely that he maintains a general respect and fondness for Central High School,” Dan Taraborrelli told Fox News on Friday. “As representative of the class whose names he chose to put on display that day, I can only say that the feeling is not mutual.” He went as far as saying he’s asked the school to ask Cosby not to wear any of their apparel ever again.
It’s should also been mentioned that Cosby attened that school and was placed on their Hall of Fame despite not graduating. His name was removed in 2015 by the school’s alumni association before being criminally charged. One could argue that he did this as a show of vendication but whatever the meaning was, it clearly wasn’t something their class president appreciated. At least he’s got his freedom.
