On Easter Sunday Blac Chyna’s mother Tokyo Toni was on Instagram driving around looking for places open to buy food to feed the homeless on Skid Row. The next morning we said that not a single person covered what she was doing to which someone responded on Twitter saying that if she had been cursing someone out, she would have gone viral. That was at 12 noon. Ironically two hours later, while doing TMZ Live, it had come into the newsroom that she was involved in an “incident” involving her daughter’s case against the Kardashian family that had started jury selection that day. The case was about the alleged forced cancelling of Blac Chyna’s show Rob & Chyna by the Kardashian family.
During the jury selection it was reported that Tokyo Toni was banned from the courtroom to which she went on Instagram saying that that wasn’t true and that she had never been banned from anywhere, never received a sheet of paper or anything. She said all she did was step one foot out of her car and was told the Kardashians were afraid of her and she couldn’t go in. She said all she’s done is talk about their clothes and that they look like crackheads. She had us in tears hearing her say Kris Jenner looked like the little man on the tricycle in Saw.
But back to her filming people on Skid Row, some of the people could rap, others wanted to tell their story to try to prevent others from being in their shoes in the future and quite honestly, they’re a demographic of people that those in public office know nothing about and really want nothing to do with. So for that we commend her. These are the things that deserve as much coverage as the negative.
