Lynn Spears took to Instagram to refute claims from her daughter Britney Spears that she abandoned her while in a mental health facility. Britney shared texts she sent to her mother claiming doctors were trying to kill her saying, “It’s a little different with proof.” But her mother had receipts of her own and revealed that Britney had cut off text messages she shared.
In the messages Lynn wrote, she spoke about the research she had done on lithium for her daughter, how she received an out of office message from her doctor that she called on her behalf and said that what she was taking, she should be fine with for now. “I hurt for you that you feel the people who love you the most betrayed you!” she captioned the post on Instagram. “Let me come to you! I love you!”

But it doesn’t stop there because Britney hit back saying, “Yo ma did you also let people know that’s one of the only times you text me back? Did you also tell people how you hid coffee ??? Did you tell them every morning when I would try to find coffee there was no pictures of me up in the kitchen, just Maddie and Jamie Lynn ??? Every single morning I would put a picture of me by you guys… and every morning you would put it away before I woke up !!!” She added: “You have some nerve showing your texts when you know you guys hurt me so bad its not even funny.”
She went on to talk about how her mother lied about knowing anything about her conservatorship before it started saying, “I had you, Miss Jacky, Allie and another friend over the night before they took me away!!!” Britney wrote. “I had done nothing wrong and you kept telling me on my couch we need to go to Malibu cause I think people are coming to get me and I said ‘Why???'” She said, “I didn’t believe you guys… we had a fucking sleepover the night before !!! It was all planned and you acted like you had no idea what was going on !!!” She ended her post by saying, “You abused me… yes I will say it and it blows me that you still play the prayer loving mom.”
Well, well, the plot thickens. Now that Britney is a free woman, we expect to see more revelations about just how this has all played out. But we do at least see that her mother isn’t going to take this beating sitting down as she’s largely been doing over the years.
