Britney Spears took to Instagram to leave a simple message to the world that perfectly sums up where she is in life right now. “If standing up for yourself burns a bridge, I have matches” she said. And can you blame her? She finally has her own choice of an attorney over 10 years after she asked for one. She’s made it clear that despite her making a loud argument to get rid of her father as her conservator, both of her parents AND her sister have contributed to the poor state of affairs she has going on these days with 13 years of abuse under a conservatorship.

And Spears has been taking to painting as a means to cope with what she has going on. “As you guys know there’s a lot of change going on in my life at the moment and today I was feeling overwhelmed so I went to Michael’s and got white paper and paint !!!”a caption to a video of her painting she posted read. “I wanted to see color and this is me messing around !!! Ok so I’m not a professional painter but I certainly felt like I was !!!”
She’s been appearing topless on Instagram a lot lately as a means to rebel and given the fact she’s not far from being 40, she should be able to do so. Her attorney is working fast to end the conservatorship and looking at how the public seems to unanimously be on her side, it’s only a matter of time at this point. Hang in there, Brit. You’ve almost got this.
