Cher’s only about a month into publicly announcing she was dating music executive Alexander Edwards who’s a whopping 40 years younger than her. She’s addressed the obvious in the past by tweeting “As we All Know …I WASNT BORN YESTERDAY,& What I Know For Sure…There Are No Guarantees. Anytime you make a Choice You Take a Chance.I’ve Always Taken Chances…It’s WHO I Am.” Her friends, however are concerned and think she’s in over her head.

Sources close to the the Believe singer have reportedly said, “Cher has a lot of people worried for her right now…She’s saying it’s her business who she dates and she’ll make her own decisions, but the warning signs are there for everyone to see.” This came after she was seen out with him for a night on the town with him kissing and holding her hand. And just why are her friends so concerned? Well he’s just a year out of a 3 year relationship with Amber Rose and they have a child together. And when they broke up, she had accused him of being a serial cheater and that she was sick of him embarrassing her.

Rose posted to her Instagram Story in August of 2021, “I’m tired of getting cheated on and being embarrassed behind the scenes,” she wrote in a series of Instagram Story posts on Wednesday (August 18). “All 12 of y’all bums (The ones that I know of there’s probably more) can have him. Y’all very much knew he was in a relationship with a baby and y’all decided to f**k him anyway.” And she also added: “I saw all the texts and DM’s. Y’all were well aware but y’all don’t owe me any loyalty so it’s whatever.”

Cher is no stranger to cheating. She spent a total of 13 years with Sonny Bono and she said his cheating was so bad it made her consider suicide. But at nearly 80 years old, she clearly wants to live her life and as she said, it’s about taking chances. You never know unless you try. Hopefully things go well for these two. We wouldn’t exactly recommend being with someone with that type of an age gap but hey, some people are irresistible.
