For months it’s been reported that CNN’s Chris Cuomo had been cheating and helping his brother, NY Governor Andrew Cuomo get through his own sexual harassment crises. It turns out that when we said he was cheating, we weren’t aware there was a different type of cheating going on. While texting his brother’s staff about when certain stories would be airing and of course prepping and soft balling his brother on air got him suspended, he had his own sexual misconduct situation going on.
Attorney Debra Katz informed CNN that she represented someone from ABC where he worked from 2000 to 2013, prior to him coming to CNN accusing him of sexual misconduct just this Wednesday. Katz made a statement to the LA Times Friday where she said she was “in discussions with CNN about providing documentary evidence of my client’s allegations and making my client available for an interview with CNN’s outside counsel.” While not revealing the name of her client, Katz described the scenario as “serious sexual misconduct.”
“The attorney general released jaw-dropping documentary evidence demonstrating that Chris Cuomo played an active role in attempting to smear women whom the attorney general concluded had made serious allegations of sexual harassment and sexual misconduct against the governor,” Katz said. “Hearing the hypocrisy of Chris Cuomo’s on-air words and disgusted by his efforts to try to discredit these women, my client retained counsel to report his serious sexual misconduct against her to CNN.”
it’s also worth noting that Chris Cuomo just celebrated his 20th year of marriage right before Thanksgiving and they have 3 children together. And in another stunning twist, over the summer, her name appeared in a black book belonging to Jeffrey Epstein which was revealed over the summer. Prayers go to the Cuomo family for having to watch this unfold in public. We’re sure this story is just starting to take off.
