Chrissy Teigen Defends Her Husband John Legend being Chosen as ‘Sexiest Man Alive’

People Magazine just made their announcement of who their latest pick for the Sexiest Man Alive is and it expectedly hasn’t come without criticism. John Legend was their choice. He’s a handsome man. Whether I would have chosen him as the Sexiest Man Alive I highly doubt but one person happy about it is his wife. Chrissy Teigen changed her Twitter bio to read, “currently sleeping with people’s sexiest man alive.” She made another post saying, “my secret is out. I have fulfilled my dream of having boned @people’s sexiest man alive!! an honor!!!!!” She went on to say, “I cannot WAIT for people to get mad about John being the sexiest man alive. it’s my new Starbucks holiday cup. no don’t send it to me please. I like to see these people naturally, in the wild.”

As we said earlier, everyone wasn’t that thrilled. Wendy Williams for one said she would rather see Jason Momoa hold the coveted title. Now that we have to agree on. Personally, since he chose to remake Baby It’s Cold Outside with a PC version, that should have disqualified him in and of itself. He was actually surprised to find out he won saying, “I’m [also] following Idris Elba, which is not fair and is not nice to me!” referring to his predecessor Idris Elba who held the title last year. Elba, however feels he’s fully deserving of the title with him tweeting, “My G Congratulations brother!!! You deserve it. DO NOT TELL @TheRock He still thinks he’s got the title, I didn’t have the heart to tell him when I took it,” Idris wrote, retweeting a throwback pic John Legend’s tweeted of the two standing together. “1995 John would be very perplexed to be following 2018 @IdrisElba as #SexiestManAlive. Hell, 2019 John is about as equally perplexed but thank you @People for finding me sexy. I’ll take it,” Legend tweeted.

Whether we disagree or not, it’s cute seeing how shocked he is to have the title and how excited his wife is. Enjoy it while you can, John, but we’d better get Jason Momoa next year. Do you hear us, People? Jason 👏 Momoa 👏.
