Elon Musk just gave up his bid to buy Twitter and for all intents and purposes appears to be on a world domination kick these days. So what better way do you solidify your place in the upper echelons than sleeping with the wife of one of the founders of Google? It was reported by The Wall Street Journal over the weekend that back in December he had a brief relationship with Google co-founder Sergey Brin’s wife Nicole Shanahan while she was separated from her husband. Unnamed people close to the throuple were cited as the source.
In a series of tweets, Musk responded to the accusation saying, “I work crazy hours, so there just isn’t much time for shenanigans. None of the key people involved in these alleged wrongdoings were even interviewed!”
He wrote earlier that it was “total BS,” citing his long term friendship with Brin and said they had even been to a party together the night before. “I’ve only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around. Nothing romantic,” he added.
This is total bs. Sergey and I are friends and were at a party together last night!
I’ve only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around. Nothing romantic.

Yeah, the character assassination attacks have reached a new level this year, but the articles are all nothing-burgers.

The friendship between Musk and Brin even went as far as Brin giving Musk $500,000 to invest in Tesla in 2008 when it was struggling financially so this would be quite the slap in the face if it were true. It does, however appear to be media backlash for him further being thrust into the spotlight with these major business decisions and declarations he’s been making that’s making the skeletons to come out. Whether true or not is yet to be determined. Just this May he denied sexually harrassing a SpaceX flight attendant in 2016 and then there’s the twins he announced having with an executive at one of his companies last year. Monday he tweeted that “the character assassination attacks have reached a new level this year.” At least he’s self-aware.
