Our model spotlight for today is model and fitness trainer Camell Page. The Philadelphia native has become a photographer favorite, being showcased in New York, BK, Atlanta, Virginia and Philadelphia Fashion Weeks. Beginning as a football player in Philadelphia he’s gone on to become the face of FUBU’s Legacy campaign.
In a previous interview with Runway Ink, he said that his major influence is Tyson Beckford citing his hard work in the industry.
“The reason I said Tyson is because everyone thinks that it was just given to him. He put in serious work his self …One thing I learned about this business is that you can’t ever give up.”
And if you want to get into the industry, he warns against those who think it’s going to easy.
“My advice to people who wishes to model is simple. You better have tough skin, because this is a cut throat business. Your going to hear some things you may not want to hear and you have to learn how to take it on the chin….”
