Kanye West has the internet shooketh after reports of his whereabouts being in question surfaced today. His former business manager Thomas St. John has claimed he’s been unable to locate him to serve him with legal documents. The same has played out with his legal counsel Greenberg Traurig trying to pull out from representing him but unable to locate him as well. With the Jesus Walks rapper missing, now a member of his orbit’s similarly gone missing.
Trinidad and Tobago artist Theophilus London who collaborated with him on his All Day track with Paul McCartney that garnered him a 2016 Grammy nomination now has a missing persons report filed with the LA Police Department saying he hasn’t been seen in months. His family believe he was last spoken to in July but LAPD are saying he was last seen on Skid Row adding that “family members lost complete contact with him in October.” His father Lary Moses London said in the statement, “”Theo, your Dad loves you, son. We miss you. And all your friends and relatives are searching for you. Wherever you are send us some signal. No matter what we will come get you son.”
As for Kanye, he has said some very alarming things, but this could have been a teaching opportunity for him to explain what he was doing wrong instead of immediately coming down to destroy him. Kanye often came across more as someone who was attempting to learn new things expressing ignorance vs malice intent. It’s possible this could have been too much for him to handle which we certainly hope isn’t the case. And look at the compound he purchased in the midwest in the middle of nowhere. It isn’t like he hasn’t tried to go far to get away from everyone. That might be the case here. And hopefully that’s the case for London that he too just went for some time away from the public to reemerge soon. We have to admit, last being seen on Skid Row, though isn’t a good sign for anyone.
