Bill Cosby’s been a free man for a year and a half and now at the ripe young age of 85 has expressed he’s ready to hit the road for a comedy tour. On radio Wednesday, Deccember 28th during a surprise interview with Scott Spears of WGH Talk, Cosby spoke about his desire to be the “Bill Cosby that my audience knows me to be.” He added that “there is so much fun to be had in this storytelling that I do.”

It’s been a whopping 7 years since Cosby’s been on stage. It was May 2, 2015 in Atlanta as part of his Far from Finished tour. And almost like a premonition, here he is headed back to the big stage like he never left proving he’s still far from finished. But not so fast. Two former Cosby Show actressed and three other women just this month have sued him for sexual assault and battery in New York state court.

“Plaintiffs were all sexually battered, assaulted, and abused by Bill Cosby as a part of the same conduct, occurrence, plan, or scheme that was perpetrated, conducted, organized, and/or performed in New York and other states by Bill Cosby and his associates and enablers,” claims the complaint from Lili Bernard and Eden Tirl, Jewel Gittens, Jennifer Thompson and Cindra Ladd, citing he repeatedly used his “enormous power in such a nefarious, horrific way.” These cases don’t appear to have any affect on his comedic future, at least. We’ll see if he sticks to his comedy tour plans.
