Rapper Iggy Azalea was performing in of all places, Saudi Arabia and she had one of the worst case scenarios for a performance there take place which was having her pants rip. After a performance full of shaking, twerking and gyrating, at the point in which she dropped low, her pants ripped and her left thigh and knee became exposed. She ended up having her show canceled there on the spot. On Instagram she wrote, “Saudi Arabia… Wasssssss…. probably the worst possible place to have my pants split & unfortunately I wasn’t permitted to end the show. 🤷♀️🥲. BUT silver lining, the promoters were amazingly kind to me & the PEOPLE who came were the absolute most supportive.” She continued, “I love you guys this was not what I intended for the show but it’s a memory I’ll have forever & ultimately showed me how kind, loving & supportive people can be while you’re having such an embarrassing moment 😭🫶.”

On top of her pants splitting, Azalea said it was her women’s empowerment message that was the last straw that caused the show to be terminated on the spot. When a fan asked her, “They really wouldn’t let you just change pants?,” she responded, “I did but I also said, ‘Ladies make some noise, it’s a woman’s world!’ And apparently that sent the authorities over the edge. Lol I’m cool I just didn’t want the fans to be sad or angry at the show organizers cause it wasn’t their control or mine it was the police at the side of stage.”
Considering that she just joined OnlyFans a few months ago and said she wouldn’t be apologizing for doing so because she said she loves her breasts, this certainly is a change in events from what she’s used to. And while Saudi Arabia has been making efforts to become more modern by allowing women to perform in just the last about 5 years, having one of those women escorted off stage and their show abruptly ended over a women empowerment isn’t exactly the image that the Crown Prince wants to portray.
