We all handle our workplace conflicts differently. Some quit, others fire their employees via Twitter like Donald Trump and others choose option 3 which is going to therapy. That is the unorthodoxed approach Joe Budden has chosen. He shared this during an Instagram Live session addressing his absence from the show along with Mal Clay saying, “I don’t think I’m supposed to divulge our therapy plans publicly, but we are going to therapy. I am a therapy baby, man… Some of y’all know this. I know some of y’all only get your perception of me from the internet, but I’m a therapy baby. When something is wrong, we’re calling the therapist. Let’s get to the bottom of it.”

Budden says he reached out to Farrell with the idea saying, “I called my man [Rory] up and said, ‘You wanna go to therapy or nah?’ We out. That’s it. We’ll get to pod business later.” He originally addressed their absence on a March 24th episode of the show saying, “I’ll eliminate some of the suspense. This is Rory’s seat, and this is Mal’s seat. Whenever they feel like returning to their seats, then they’ll return to their seats. And then what will happen is the same thing when your star player comes back to the team.”

Regarding the change in dynamic of the show, Budden said, “loves when podcasts go through this type of turmoil,” because it “shapes character.” This is actually good to hear him say because so many great partnerships, especially on screen ones get destroyed over petty nonsense when something as simple as therapy could have possibly fixed it. TS Madison and Khia, we’re talking to you.

He continued, “Sometimes in friendship and business, everyone needs to take a step back and go to their respective corners. Sometimes everyone’s perspective and perception on how to go about that and how it should be executed is different.”

Well we’re looking forward to hearing how therapy works out and Budden, thank you for eliminating the stigma that comes along with it. That also shows that you’re a good friend to your co-hosts.
