Real Housewives of New Jersey star and husband Joe Giudice has just been deported to Italy on October 11th and has finally spoken out on his experience. In 2014 he was sentenced to 41 months for bank and bankruptcy fraud and was ordered to pay over $400,000 in restitution. His actions lead to his wife Teresa Giudice having to do some time as well. These days he’s been deported to his home of Italy after being released from prison and just shared a video that was posted to Bravo’s The Daily Dish. In the clip he said “You just gotta look forward and never look back.”
“Life, it’s always better to through the windshield and not through the rearview mirror, you know?” the 47-year-old said looking like he was in the best shape we’ve seen him in before. “It’s a much bigger picture when you’re looking through the windshield. But, at the end of the day, people make mistakes. Nobody’s perfect.””
Now that he’s spent 41 months in prison and 7 in ICE custody, he says he’s reflected on his action and has grown as a person. “I’ve learned a valuable lesson from all this,” he admitted. “I know my family is the most important thing to me. But it’s better that I’m out here than in there.”
Now his family is said to be very excited about going to see Joe in Italy but it’s been 11 days and his wife hasn’t gone yet. Wendy Williams pointed out that those are the actions of a person who doesn’t want to be married anymore. Yes, it’s in the middle of a school year and though she could easily get her nanny to watch the kids while she went over there, maybe she doesn’t really want to go. Actions speak louder than words. As for our stance on the future of their relationship, honestly, they don’t have to stay married. But at the end of the day, whatever crimes he participated in to help his wife have a better life show that he cared enough about her to risk his future to have her comfortable.
Whether what Joe Giudice did was write or wrong is another story but Teresa at least owes it to him to make sure that he’s okay in moving forward with his new life. It’s called loyalty. So if things don’t work out and even if she was blindsided by his actions, Teresa still has a career and can check on him, pass him a little something, etc. He’s also a very enterprising guy. He should be fine regardless. He and Teresa will both be on a special Bravo show giving updates on their lives with him videoing in from Italy and likely Teresa in the studio next Sunday the 27th at 8pm on Bravo titled, The Real Housewives of New Jersey Special Event: Joe and Teresa Unlocked.
