Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss appeared on Aaron Keenan’s show Haus of Aaron where she was asked if she had issues with former RHOA producer Carlos King which she emphatically confirmed that she does. You might recall a few years ago reports of Kandi Burruss saying she was planning an Xscape biopic and then another mysteriously was being worked on. Well that’s not been spoken about until now.
Burruss told Keenan “He is the one who stole my group’s life story and sold it to TV One.” She said that he spent years around her, was friends with her and everything but not once mentioned this project. She said he even called her mother asking her questions for the project but described it as a documentary on girl groups. He didn’t say it was specifically about Xscape because she definitely would have put an end to that. “To go behind my back and to do that — that’s OUR life story — I was like, ‘I can’t f*ck with him ever again,” she concluded.

In other Kandi Burruss news, her cousin Melvin Jones who was shot at her restaurant Blaze Steak & Seafood in Atlanta after an altercation with a coworker was healing just fine. Speaking on the Ooh Ladies First Panel, she said “He’s doing fine. He’s getting through it,” said Burruss, 46. “So since he’s okay, I’m okay. If he wouldn’t have been okay, I wouldn’t have been okay, you know what I mean?”
“Obviously, he’s uncomfortable. But [the bullet] didn’t hit anything that won’t heal,” she continued. “He’s at home, he’s healing. He’s fine. I mean, he’s not fine but he’s [okay].” We just want to know what type of argument was going on that made someone pull a gun out at work to shoot their coworker. I often talk about how blue collar employees are more prone to violence, according to studies as they tend to have less worker protections and more stress. I can’t help but want to hear more about this situation. The restaurant was closed the next day, Sept 8th for staff training.
