Kanye West swept through and helped make sure kids in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood had a nice Christmas this year by contributing almost all of the toys for the toy drive there today. The location was Kennedy King Gym and 16th Ward Alderman Stephanie Coleman expressed how grateful she was for the gesture to their local news affiliate ABC7.
“I’m so proud that Kanye is, once again, responding to our request to help the children of Englewood and beyond,” Coleman said. “He is no stranger to our community. His presence has always been felt in our neighborhoods and he loves visiting, but this Christmas he has truly been our modern-day Santa Claus.”

This comes after his meeting with the CEO of LA Mission last month and a number of other charitable organizations in the area to discuss solutions for the growing homeless issue in the area. He offered to use his companies to help with education, jobs, and housing.
In other Kanye news, he’s been accused of being a Republican plant with recent reports of a number of people working on his 2020 presidential campaign being high profile Conservatives. A recent DailyBeast report showed he went to great lengths to hide millions in services from GOP “operatives” leading people to believe that once again, he only served the purpose of pulling votes from Joe Biden.
Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) communications director Jordan Libowitz said about Kanye “It’s pretty clear Kanye was a GOP plant, whether he knew it or not,” he said. Mentioned in the report was the firm Holtzman Vogel which specializes in election law and campaign finance with ties to Trump and the Honest Elections Project which spent hundreds of thousands of dollars going
against mail in voting last year. What this can mean for Kanye is yet to be realized but we’ll be reporting on any new developments.
