Kanye West might have cracked up some in the early days of his campaign for President last month but don’t underestimate him. He’s still working on causing the most impact in this race and hiring the best people to do so. He’s hired the company Let The Voters Decide to help him get the 5,000 required signatures to get on the ballot in the Buckeye State. The company has 90 people on the ground working on his election efforts and the company says they’re confident they can get him on the ballot.
To put this move into perspective, Trump won Ohio with under 5,000 votes in 2016. Other swing states the West campaign is targeting are West Virginia, and Arkansas that could help him cause a political upset in the 2020 race. He’s said he’s hoping to tip the scale in favor of Biden not being elected but there is the possibility he could become a protest vote for Trump supporters who oppose Biden, so it isn’t clear yet exactly which way his involvement in the race is going to take things.
Kanye’s also spoken Friday about his South Carolina rally saying he was fine tweeting “I cried at the thought of aborting my first born and everyone was so concerned about me. I’m concerned for the world that feels you shouldn’t cry about this subject,” he wrote. “There is a tactic of 4 D’s”: “Distract, Discredit, Dismiss, To Destroy.” “I am quite alright,” he added. “Take a second and think about what is being projected here.” He didn’t go into detail about what he was referring to about projection but he could be referring to how men crying aren’t allowed.
His wife Kim Kardashian has reportedly been torn on divorcing him after he publicly said he’s been trying to divorce her since she had a meeting with Meek Mill over “criminal justice reform” as he put it on Twitter. They were seen in a car with Kim appearing to be crying in Wyoming when she last went to visit him about a week ago. Today he was seen getting on a plane with Saint West headed to Wyoming. It’s not clear if he was going with the rest of the family, which he likely is but there’s nothing like a getaway bonding trip to bring a family back together. Perhaps this time away with his family will help bring some cohesion to his campaign to help him bring maximum impact at the polls this year as he’s said he plans on beating Joe Biden with write-in votes.
