Caitlyn Jenner just finished her time on the British reality show I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! and had a rather sad elimination as the only person who showed up was her girlfriend Sophia Hutchins who was there for her flight home. As big of a family as she has, none of her actual family members were there which seemed to confirm the stories of how she’s feuding with the whole Kardashian-Jenner clan. That might have flown on camera but according to Brandon Jenner, that’s not what happened at all.
“Honestly, nobody reached out to set it up,” he responded to a fan on Instagram. “I think it might have been a ‘storyline’ the producers wanted to fabricate in order to get more empathy for Caitlyn. That’s how that kind of TV works.” Kim Kardashian spotted his comment and shared a post agreeing with him tweeting, “Exactly what Brandon said!!!!” She added, “NO ONE from I’m A Celeb even reached out and asked for letters, appearances or anything from any Kardashians or Jenners.” Kendall Jenner then retweeted Kim with 4 exclamation marks.

But all wasn’t lost because after Caitlyn returned to Cali she had a hotel room filled with balloons waiting on her. “Just got out of the jungle and actually getting hair and makeup done, and boy do I need it, –‘ she posted to her Instagram Story. “Haven’t had it in weeks. But, when I came out of the jungle, had a lot of friends there, but I had a big surprise when I got to the hotel.”
To get an idea as to why this whole false narrative was created, it’s because she stated how strained her relationship with her family has been as of late and mostly with Khloe Kardashian on the show. “The only one that was really — and I still, even to today, can’t quite figure it out — was Khloe. Khloe, for some reason, was pissed off about something through this whole process. Honestly, it’s been five, six years, and I really haven’t talked to her since.” She added, “I don’t know what it is, and that’s all I can say. And Khloe and I were really close. I raised Khloe since she was 5 years old. I don’t know what her issues are, I really don’t know.” Khloe on the other hand is said to reject this “on several fronts,” according to TMZ.
It’s a shame that for a family so filled with drama that even when there isn’t any, there has to be some created by someone else all of the time. People are always blaming production for things on these shows and people forget how much control over narratives they have. Look at Nene Leakes saying how she had to beg production to get Cynthia Bailey on a hot mic talking trash about her included in show footage so that people would stop thinking she was bullying her or the random shots of back fat and other embarrassing looks production just so happen to always zoom in on all the time.
