In an interesting turn of events today, actress, model and bestie of Khloe Kardashian, Malika Haqq announced she’s pregnant today. It was done in typical 2019 fashion, through a sponsored post for Clearblue’s Digital Pregnancy Tests. Reminds us of Jennifer Lawrence posting her Amazon wedding registry online of things we know she didn’t put on there. At least in this case, this is actually her baby. The Instagram post she made showed a smiling Haqq and was captioned with “I listen to my heart, and I’ve decided that the rest of my life will be the best of my life. I’m pregnant! I didn’t know when, I just knew one day. God said it’s my turn, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the little spirit that grows inside of me. I am yours, baby, and you are mine. Thank you, @Clearblue for being a CLEAR and intricate part of the most important test result of my life. 2020 baby! #ClearblueConfirmed #ClearbluePartner.” And as expected, Khloe gave her best wishes in the comments saying “Congratulations Mika May!!!!! I am so beyond overwhelmed with love and happiness!!!! God is GREAT!!!! We are all so blessed!!!! I love you and baby madly.”
Then for the obvious… who’s the father? She split up from her ex of 2 years with rapper OT Genasis just this June. Not long after they made an Instagram post together hugged up pretty closely at an event but no word of them getting back together has been made. He’s a hot guy so if it happened it would be understandable. It’s just awkward making a post about a pregnancy and not mentioning the dad. Trey Songz had a baby recently, didn’t mention who the mother was and went as far as roasting some people in the comments for bringing it up. Hopefully she doesn’t take that route but we do wish her the best in her pregnancy.
