There was an Onion article this week that said DaBaby apologized to the Jewish community for not including them into his hate filled rant that while funny, is a perfect example of art imitating life. Rapper Kodak Black decided to go after light skinned guys this morning. He wrote on Instagram “A lightskin n*gga can’t see me in nothing. Good black don’t crack. WeWinning.”

Let’s discuss who said this. Kodak Black, who got out of prison by the skin of his teeth and a pardon from former President Trump has been making charitable donations for awhile likely to soften his image and make sure the legal system doesn’t give him the blues. But then he recorded himself throwing $100,000 cash into the ocean which doesn’t exactly reflect the image of a thoughtful person. Then there was that cringeworthy sex education convo he had with his 7 year old son that began with his son saying “I’m gonna get f*cked tonight” on camera.
Then one has to ask, what is good black? Colorism much? And speaking of good black don’t crack, he looks like he doesn’t wash his crack so sir… please knock it off. And weren’t some of his biggest hits with lightskin guys? His hit Wake Up in the Sky with Bruno Mars alongside Gucci Mane made it to No 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 going 3x platinum. Then Lockjaw with French Montana went 2x platinum .
