Kylie Jenner spends an outrageous amount of money protecting herself Caitlyn Jenner revealed on an episode of UK’s reality show I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! And it’s not the usual level of security one would expect. “Kylie will spend anywhere between $300,000 and $400,000 a month on security, everywhere she goes. It’s a big operation,” Caitlyn told fellow contestant Cliff Parisi. This reminds us of a report from years ago that Donald Trump in his younger days had security on the floor of his office in Trump Tower which was essentially nothing more than just for show, to give the appearance that he was either more important or bigger than he actually was. At the end of the day, it’s her money and she can spend it any way she pleases, but there’s no way she has that type of a threat posed on her life.

When asked about her family and how she feels about them having to go through so much just to go out of the door, Caitlyn said, “It’s sad but they have been doing it forever. They like having the security guys there.” This might have something to do with paranoia after Kylie’s sister Kendall had her home broken into not once but three times, with the third being October 2018. Even then, $400,000? Really? It sounds like someone’s ego’s just slightly above normal.

Caitlyn been quite open about her family on the show including talking about the struggles she’s had in connecting with Khloe Kardashian since transitioning. “I started [by telling] Brandon [Jenner] Opens in a new Window.my son [when I was transitioning], and he said to me: ‘Dad, I’ve always been so proud to be your son but I’ve never been more proud of you than right now. I went through every kid and Khloé, for some reason, was pissed off about something through this whole process. It’s been five or six years and I really haven’t talked to her since.” She said the two used to be “really close” and had been raising the 35 year old since she was 5. “I really don’t know what her issues are,” Caitlyn explained.

While she might not have been that close with her family all the time in recent years, Caitlyn still defends her family and feels they’re the “royal family of entertainment.” And given her presumed royal status in the UK, she openly pondered whether the Queen herself is watching. “This is a big show in U.K. I wonder if the royal family is watching — what if the Queen watches? … Because in some way, I’m part of the royal family of entertainment,” she dished. “One royal family meets the other royal family, you know.” Okay, Caitlyn. We definitely see where your daughter’s ego comes from.
