Rapper Slim 400, an affiliate of YG’s was shot dead in Inglewood, California Wednesday night at 33 years old. Because of his Blood affiliation, that didn’t exactly help things. Now with rising crime, especially that of gang warfare, even with Beverly Hills residents reportedly arming themselves in the wake of it all, LAPD has some concerns. They’re feating that there will be some gang retaliation over his death.

Sources say the local police believe Slim 400 simply was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Inglewood Police are being said to have plans on upping their coverage of the area to discourage what happened to him from happening to anyone else. TMZ is reporting that police are upset with Governor Newsome and the District Attorney for policies allowing criminals out with little to no bail money.

Regarding the state of LA right now, Jamie McBride, the director of the Los Angeles Police Protective League, told FOX News he’s telling people “don’t visit because we don’t think we can keep you safe right now.” Rapper The Game posted on Instagram, “It’s all bad out here rn. Seem like every other day somebody passing away.” G Perico tweeted, “Don’t come to LA.” Reports of a rash of home robberies by people pretending to be police have been occurring and in follow Misster Ray on Twitter, it seems like everyday he’s been saying how out of control things are and that’s just by stumbling across those tweets by accident.

We’re offering up prayers for safety for those in the area.
