We recently reported on a heart wrenching interview R&B singer Lil Mo gave with her friend, DC’s DJ Quicksilva about her journey to her third divorce from boxer Karl Dargan and the abuse she encountered. She talked about jumping out of the car on the side of the freeway when he would threaten to blow her brains out, how he threw hot coffee and hot tea at her, him kicking her in the back and the $400 a day drug habit just to cope with things. Dargan, on the other hand, seems to have another perspective on things.
Dargan asked on Twitter, “How can a parent, prevent another parent from seeing their child/children? No matter if the parents don’t get along, move on with ur life but NEVER take away the relationship the parent has with his child…” He also went on to say that people weren’t interested in the truth and that what’s being alleged about him didn’t happen at all. And this isn’t the first time he’s addressed this because the first time Mo came out talking about her opioid addiction, he indirectly said that people shouldn’t blame others for their voluntary choices, hinting that she did the drugs because she wanted to and not to blame him. We will say, however that during some interview of hers, she did mention that she was doing drugs because she was famous and said that’s what famous people do. As for the claims that the abuse made her do more of it, is also valid. Two things can be true at the same time. It was probably a combination of both.

But through all of this, Dargan, who’s now fully divorced from Mo has continued to express his desire to see his children, stating how much he misses them. The challenge here is that in the Quicksilva interview, she said she has a protection order against him. Children deserve to see their children and vice versa and whatever it is that’s going on, we hope these two can get things together. It’s been a long 5 or so years that we’ve watched this soap opera unfold and just as Dargan has said, you can’t criticize someone that you don’t know from a can of paint, referring to a lot of the social media criticism he receives based on his reality television appearances. In the meantime, we’re going to be praying for healing for their family in 2020.
Don’t blame me for YOUR bad habit(s) wtf

Lil Mo did an interview talking about her ex-husband & how she was told they were acting like Bobby & Whitney, how she thought he dislocated her jaw, kicked, spit on her, threw hot coffee at her, how she jumped out on the highway & her $400/day drug habithttps://t.co/vfoiZzDWeD pic.twitter.com/NRmZueNP5z
