Lil Uzi Vert was recently on camera with a fan that wanted a video with him. She asked why he was so shy and he responded blushing saying, “because I have a girlfriend.” And that’s actually not a bad response since things spread on social media and before you know it the world is calling you a philandering cheat. Given that he’s been with City Girls member JT for going on 3 years and even bought her a McLaren, the cost of which exceeds some people’s homes, it kind of is common knowledge that they’ve been together and for some time. So he knows what to do. It was kind of cute seeing him have JT on his mind the way he did when asked why he wasn’t embracing the girl in the video.

In other Uzi news, he recently changed his pronouns to they/them. Yes, you heard that correctly. Lil Uzi Vert, a straight man changed his pronouns and ahead of his latest EP Red and White out Friday, July 23rd. His girl JT came to his defense responding to a fan that said “I’m not calling my man ‘they.’” by saying, “you don’t have a man to call.” Now no official announcement was made about the pronoun change. It usually accompanies revelations about one’s sexuality so we’re going to see if he has anything to add or say about that.
While we might not know why Uzi changed his pronouns, he did pen a song called Glock in My Purse on his new EP. The lyrics seems to try to butch up a purse, or murse or at best a man bag by saying, “No, this is not a purse / How the fuck this a purse? / Ain’t no lip gloss in it / Only lean, Penicillin.” He goes on to say, “If it had two straps / You would call it a backpack.” And the most telling part here is the line of him saying about his dad, “He thought i was a [f*g] (What?)/ ’cause i wore skinny jeans (Jeans).” If we didn’t know any better, we would say this sounds like a type of slow coming out, but you can be the judge.
Lil Uzi Vert just wrote a song called Glock In My Purse. Somebody call @BOOSIEOFFICIAL. We need his reaction to this. lol
