Rapper Lil Xan was out Friday night when he was approached in an L.A. parking lot where he was asked why he called Tupac boring… or more specifically, why he was “talking sh*t” about him. Mind you, this was a comment from almost a year and a half ago he made in an interview. He was born around the time Tupac died so a little flack should be given here. That wasn’t the case with this guy because he proceeded to call him a b*tch. At that point, Xan went back in his Mercedes SUV and pulled out a gun at the guy and even invoking the N word saying, “What the f*ck you want, bruh?? Get the f*ck out, n***a!!!” His girlfriend Annie Smith got out and jumped into it saying “You started it, you dumb f**k.” He pulled his gun out one more time for good measure and pulled off. But that wasn’t the end of the incident as the whole thing was filmed and the person he was waving the gun at presented the footage to LAPD who is currently investigating the situation.
Now to talk about what happened, this occurred after 10pm Friday night and if any of us were approached by a stranger looking to pick a fight at that hour, we’d probably be on the defense. And given the way rappers have been involved in so many altercations and shootouts lately, it’s probably better to be safe than sorry. It sounds bad as a headline that he was pulling a gun out on someone over a comment but he was in fact being approached in an abrasive manner. He went on Instagram later posting that the media was going to twist what he did but said he was simply defending himself. He also brought up Tupac again essentially calling his supporters old and to let it go. Ouch. One thing’s for certain, that sure won’t be cooling off the situation of people upset about his comments on the late rapper. And it was expected that his girlfriend would get out to defend him because she’s accused of faking a pregnancy and posting a googled sonogram just to keep him back in February. She claimed she had a miscarriage in April. He’s since said in an interview he was 50/50 on whether she faked it or not. Sheesh. Drama. His management has not offered a statement as of yet and we’ll be reporting on updates here.
