The world has been mourning the loss of the Lori Harvey and Michael B. Jordan relationship with fans of both trying to speculate what they think went wrong. With everything from it being the end of Jordan’s contracted time with Harvey to him needing to take the L for foolishly thinking he was going to pull a young, fit socialite into marriage. Well her mother Marjorie appears to shared some insight on what happened.
The 57 year old fashionista shared a video of actress Jennifer Lewis to her Instagram presumably about the couple’s 1 year relationship that said, “You sit in s–t too long, it stops smelling,” Jennifer said in the six-second clip. “So come the f–k outta there.” While that’s not bad advice, let’s take her mother into consideration. She dated two cousins in the same family, Donnell and Darnell Woods. We’re not judging but just saying. She comes from a scandalous lineage. Her father Steve Harvey commented on things during Monday’s episode of The Steve Harvey Show saying, “I’m Team Lori, one thousand percent.” He added, “She’s my daughter. I love her. I support her.”
“Like I tell everybody, things happen,” the elder Harvey said. “It’s hard to be young and in the limelight and have a successful relationship. As long as you don’t put your hands on my daughter, I don’t give a damn what you do,” Harvey said.
A source told People Magazine that it was Lori Harvey that realized they weren’t on the same page while they “were making plans for their future.” The source claimed Harvey “wasn’t ready to commit.” The source added “She is very focused on her career.” “She still wants to have fun and be free,” the source says. “Michael is a great guy. She is sad that their relationship didn’t work out, but she is moving on.”
“Michael matured a lot over the course of their relationship and was ready to commit for the long term. He let down his guard with her, opening up emotionally in a romantic relationship for the first time,” added the source. “They had great times together and brought out the best in each other.”
No word from either Jordan or Harvey has come yet but Harvey’s so far deleted all images of him from her social media and he was seen out at Game 2 of the NBA Finals in San Francisco with rapper Cordae for a guys night out to shrug things off.
