Lori Loughlin is finishing her 2 month sentence in federal prison in Dublin, CA for her involvement in this year’s college fraud scandal. Rumors were coming in that she would be home for Christmas but her release date is still December 28th and TMZ is reporting that she won’t be getting out a day earlier.

Prison hasn’t exactly been a cake walk for Loughlin. While it’s being said that she’s made some friends and “keeping her head down and doing everything to avoid trouble,” as TMZ has reported, others have a different story. Page Six reports that she’s really been a mess over it all. The 56 year old “really went into prison strong,” the source stated. “She had her faith and the support of her family, but the first few days and road ahead are daunting.” She was being described as being a “wreck.” They went on to say, “Lori tried her best to be brave and look at the end result but there was nothing that could dissipate her fears.”

Loughlin’s husband Mossimo Giannulli seems to be taking a hard hitting approach to his prison stint. He began his 5 month stint November 19th and entered prison straight Rambo with a buzzcut so he’s clearly ready for God knows what. Unfortunately he’s been on quarantine since the time he got in there due to a COVID breakout which caused it to become procedure for all new inmates to be on 14 day quarantines.

As it stands we should be seeing Loughlin leaving her federal prison facility next Monday. She’ll also get to see her 22 year old daughter Bella Giannulli who just showed off how she did her hair so she could be #twinning with her mom when she gets home. The question then is going to be, what next? Loughlin and her husband were the two that held out the longest but since they are doing their time, if they drop their arrogance, a redemption role or two may come out of his. We’re a country that loves a good comeback story, but you have to first show some humility.

Similarly we were just listening to a vlogger claiming that the Bravo was looking to fire Real Housewives of Potomac cast member Monique Samuels after the fight she got into with Candiace Dillard. She wouldn’t be the first on the network to get into a fight but the biggest draw from this we could see is that she wasn’t remorseful. You may remember in comparison, Porsha Williams on the Real Housewives of Atlanta went as far as singing a negro spiritual on set at the reunion she was so remorseful. the politically side of mine would say for her to do that but if you don’t feel remorse and don’t want to express it, I completely get it. On the other hand, Samuels is much younger than Loughlin. At her age, she might not get another chance after this so it would be in her best interest to show some remorse.
