Real Housewives of New York star Countess Luann de Lesseps was ordered back to jail for probation violations yesterday. She failed a breathalyzer test back in April and admitted to her probation officer that she had a couple mimosas following her cabaret show, Countess and Friends in Chicago. And because she declined to immediately enroll in some form of treatment or an ankle monitor because of her touring schedule, she had twice weekly Alcoholics Anonymous meetings that she also didn’t attend. So it wasn’t a surprise that she found herself back in custody. She is, however, lucky to have been released after making a plea deal where she’ll have “weekly telephone counseling sessions with her treating psychiatrist.” She’s also going to have monthly in person sessions, maintain a “breathalyzer monitoring device” and take the doctor prescribed alcoholism medication Antabuse.

Upon leaving the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, she told US Weekly, hese reports are false. I’m glad the judge was understanding once made aware of the evidence provided and I was then released,” de Lesseps said in a statement to Us Weekly. “I am now looking forward to completing my remaining few months of probation. I want to put this behind me and move forward with my life.”

The irony about all of this is that when the show first started, Luann was the one casting judgment on the rest of the cast, constantly telling everyone how to behave and discussing who does and doesn’t have class. It wasn’t long before she was the one sleeping with the help while on vacation with the rest of the cast, attacking police officers, being accused of cheating on her ex-husband and going in and out of rehab, none of which appears to be very classy if you’d ask us. And just like her song says, “money can’t buy class,” the same apparently goes for the woman who wrote the song.
