Now rap beefs usually involve pot shots ranging anywhere from how much money people have to their girls, lyrical ability etc. But when you bring in someone’s mom, things have officially gone to another level. Diddy is no stranger to controversy so his back and forth with Ma$e should surprise no one. Ma$e claims Diddy owes him $3 million and Diddy said in a Breakfast Club interview out Wednesday morning that he not only was a “fake pastor” but said he wants receipts to show he owed him $3 million. In fact, he said it was the other way around and that it was Ma$e that owed him the $3 million.

“I did one album with Ma$e! One album! How much money do you think I owe this guy?” he said. “One album, and then he became a fake pastor? And went and conned people? And then y’all gon’ let him throw dirt on the god’s name? Ma$e owes me $3 million. That’s facts, I got the receipt. Did the [second] album, never delivered. And I’m not going to go back and forth with Ma$e, I’m not going back and forth with nobody. I’ma speak up for myself now.”

And this is where Diddy’s mother comes in. His mother already interrupted one of his livestreams over the summer when she told Ma$e, “Don’t mess with my son.” That was in response to Ma$e’s diss track “Oracle 2: The Liberation of Mason Betha.” The lyrics went, “N-ggas trying to starve my kids and give my money to his first born / I’m not the n-gga posed to work for ’em / You ‘pose to teach Coach and P about a legacy / Instead the n-ggas follow you, you teaching treachery / And now you say you check for me without a check for me.”

On Wednesday, October 5th Ma$e said in an Instagram video, “How dare this n-gga talking about he want receipts. Let’s start with your mother, n-gga. Your mother got the receipts, n-gga. Everything is in your mother’s name. That’s the one who’s got the receipts, n-gga.” Then he dragged in dead Bad Boy members saying they could give receipts but obviously they’re not here anymore. “You need more proof, n-gga? Big ain’t here so Big can’t give you no receipts, he dead,” he added. “Craig Mack can’t give you receipts, he dead. What are you talking about? Who else? Black Rob can’t give you receipts, he dead.

“And everybody else you made sign paperwork so they can’t talk about what I’m talking about. I’m the only one with the guts! I’m not signing, n-gga, ’cause I don’t need the money. All money ain’t good money — remember that.”

Look, we don’t know what Diddy’s mother had to do with this but we don’t think that’s going to be ending well. As you can see, she enjoys the smoke.

In other Diddy news, he defended Kanye’s White Lives Matter shirts at his Paris fashion show saying that he would always support him as a “freethinker,” but said this wasn’t a joke. He said it was an “unnecessary” controversy and “tone deaf.” He then referred to Candace Owens as “Karen Owens” because her name was too black. And as a peer of his not wanting to watch him just crash and burn, Diddy did the right thing by giving him constructive criticism versus just wanting him thrown away as an artist and a person.
