Michael Rapaport attended attended an NBA All Star Game Sunday, February 17th in Charlotte. NC at their Spectrum Center. Meek Mill was also there, performed and Michael was a little less than enthused about his performance. He chose to perform Going Bad, Uptown Anthem and his hit Dreams and Nightmares (Intro.) XXL Magazine described it as epic. Michael Rapaport on the other hand not only panned his performance, he called him a trash rapper. Now some may look at Michael Rapaport as just a white actor but if anyone knows hip hop, it’s him. He’s done a few documentaries on A Tribe Called Quest and discusses the genre on his podcast. So when Michael takes a jab at your music, it’s kind of a big deal.

Meek didn’t exactly appreciate hearing Rappaport’s commentary saying “Aye @michealrapaport don’t ever use the word trash when you speaking on nothing from our culture unless you tryna get trashed #2 who gave you authorization to be speaking on us? #3 what you charging now? Last time I seen You you wanted a selfie be great tho on the net ‍♂️.” And that was in response to him saying he wasn’t even a top 20 rapper from Philly. Ouch.

Then Meek took things a step further with an old pic of the two together where he claims he didn’t even know who Michael Rapaport was and neither did Nicki Minaj when he supposedly asked him to take a pic. Nicki was in the original pic but Meek edited her out for the purposes of reposting it and we all know what that’s about. He claims Nicki, who he refers to as “Anonymous” thought he was the white guy from White Men Can’t Jump. For the record, he wasn’t and that actor’s name is Woody Harrelson who’s about a full decade older than him.

Rapaport started taking digs at him digging up his feud with Drake which the two have already put behind each other saying “Meek Mill had a chance to prove he was a dope Rapper…..and then came DRAKE. That was a moment to stand tall as RAPPER. Like I said, great story, great look probably gonna do some positive stuff, none of that means you’re a DOPE MC. Dragged by DRAKE?”

Well, Michael, say what you want about Drake but in 2019 he’s practically ruled the music industry as a whole and not just rap so, no need in dragging down Drake’s name to go after Meek. Either way, any time Meek Mill’s involved in a beef, it’s always guaranteed to be entertaining. The same goes for Michael Rapaport. Check out the whole thing below:
