It’s been just about exactly a year since Pam Anderson got married to long lost love, Hollywood producer Jon Peters, now 20+ years her senior. He was engaged at the time and had a fiance literally moving in at that momeent he dropped for Pam. He later said he bought her a whole new wardrobe, paid off her $200,000 in debt and decided that was it. He said he was being played and sent her a text saying it was over. Well imagine the surprise on the faces of fans to hear that she’s gotten married a second time in the same year.

It was Christmas Eve when the blonde bombshell wed her bodyguard, Dan Hayhurst, who she had met just earlier in the year. “I’m exactly where I need to be — in the arms of a man who truly loves me,” she told the Daily Mail. They got married in the backyard of her Vancouver Island home, where the two originally met. She joked that the year that she had known her bodyguard felt like 7 in dog years.

“I was married on the property I bought from my grandparents 25 years ago. This is where my parents were married and they are still together. I feel like I’ve come full circle,” she added. “I think this romantic property has a lot of healing energy. I’m at peace here. It’s a big property, but a few people passing by could see the fairy-tale gown with the long Princess Diana veil dragging in the mud. Heaven.”

Anderson also quit social media a day ago… just as she shared her wedding photos with The Daily Mail. She said she wants a peaceful life now, stating that the world just wants to make money off of your wasted time on social media. While true, her ex, Jon Peters said he was going to help get her a new career since she couldn’t pay her debts. Part of the 21st century world of rebranding oneself is by using social media. And that’s especially necessary for someone her age. In another year she’ll be eligible for most senior citizen discounts. She might need social media for the sake of her own money making prospects.

As for Anderson wanting a private life, that was part of why Peters left her. He felt that she came with too much energy including the excitement around their wedding, her press, etc. He lives on a 3,000 acre property for peace. Perhaps a year later, she’s just now starting to learn the value in peace. And while closing her social media might have been for peace sake, maybe just temporarily it’s not such a bad idea because God knows the comments she would get if people were allowed to respond to her Instagram opining on this being her 4th marriage, two of which occurred in the same year. Still, we wish her the best. She lives like only Pam Anderson can.
