Pete Davidson’s been at Saturday Night Live since 2014 when he was just 20 years old and yet he’s reportedly ready to call it quits. Season 47 is expected to be his last, something that shouldn’t at all come as a surprise as he’s dropped hints about wanting to leave for a few years. He told Charlamagne Tha God in 2020 that he had beeen having conversations about when the appropriate time for him to exit would be but didn’t want to “leave too early.” He also told The Hollywood Reporter in May 2021 he was ready to “hang up the jersey.” He said “Yeah, I’m good. I’m surprised I made it to seven [seasons].” And during the Season 46 finale he sparked more rumors of an exit saying, “I’m very grateful to be here,” he said at the time. “It’s been an honour to grow up in front of you guys.”

Also, according to a source close to the actor, he’s ready to take his relationship with Kim Kardashian, he’s ready to take things to the next level. This source went on to tell ET that despite his good intentions, Kim isn’t quite ready yet. They also cited there are still “unresolved issues” with her ex Kanye West but states she feels “secure” when with Pete. One thing Davidson is going to have to get used to is protecting her because she and her family are known for having crazies following them around. She filed an emergency restraining order against a man who threatened to kill her and her family recently and threatened to bomb her business offices. Her legal team says they intercepted 80 letters sent to Kim with 30 in the last month alone. So if this is what Davidson wants, he’s got his work cut out for him.
