Kevin Samuels was trending today for being his usual self. For those who don’t know Kevin Samuels, he is an image consultant turned dating coach for women online. See, there was a time where people have said he made decent videos and I’ve seen a few. Today he’s basically a raging misogynist that has people call into his show saying what type of man they want and he eviscerates them for fun.
In a new petition started by The Goldie Channel, they’re calling to have his channel removed from Youtube and Instagram and so far has about 8,500 signatures.
The petition reads, “Women feel unsafe in the presence of men who identify with his ideology and have even been berated while going about their daily lives, (yes, even while at work), with criticisms that have been spoken directly from Mr. Samuels’ mouth. The very words that were spoken on social media platforms have permeated every facet of daily life for unsuspectingwomen.
Removing this leader of hatred against women will bring reprieve for all of us. ”
TheJasmineBrand pointed out how he called Saweetie an “adjustable 6” which is fine because it’s his opinion but… why say it? And anyone who has seen Saweetie would strongly disagree with that statement unless they’ve been turned down by her or someone like her. And about Saweetie, he said, “I look at your fresh face, no makeup, your natural state. And if you have ever seen [Saweetie’s] pictures fresh face, natural state, she’s a cute woman who can be pretty. But I don’t think she’ll ever be considered beautiful or gorgeous.”
Now I could have sworn I wrote this before but couldn’t find it. There is only one other man I can think of that behaves the way Kevin Samuels does and that is Dr. Matthew L. Stevenson, a respected pastor out of the Chicago area who similarly talks about women from the pulpit in that same type of misogynist manner. He even told someone to turn Jack’d off in church which is a gay dating app. People have said that he was gay for years and I 100% believe it because no straight man stands up in public reading women and being that level of shady in the name of Christianity.
Kevin Samuels has that same spirit Dr. Stevenson has. Without paying attention, I assumed Kevin Samuels was gay when I first saw him. I was shocked to hear that he not only was straight but married to a woman.
I’ll just leave this off by saying that there are plenty people you can get dating advice from without subjecting yourself to being berated like he likes to do.
