Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams found herself with her hands in zip ties protesting in Kentucky today. She was one of 87 taken away by police for refusing to leave the Kentucky Attorney General’s home protesting the fact that the officers responsible for killing Breonna Taylor have not yet been arrested.
For those unfamiliar with the case, Breonna Taylor was a 26 year old EMT shot and killed in her home during a no knock warrant being executed where she, nor her boyfriend had criminal records and the person they were ultimately trying to get was arrested elsewhere. Also present at the protest was Love & Hip Hop: New York’s Yandy Smith and one of the organizers of the 2017 Women’s March, Tamika Mallory along with hundreds of others.

It’s been over 4 months since the no knock warrant occurred and nothing has happened yet. The AG Daniel Cameron was criticized for posting pics of his engagement party instead of working on the case but all that did was confirm that the protesting needed to intensify. Daily calls for the arrest of the 3 officers have been occurring ever since. As for Porsha, her arrest charges include criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and intimidating a participant in legal process. We’ll be reporting more on this as additional details are released.
