For the Marriage Bootcamp fans, we have a new couple reported to join the WeTV series. Rapper N.O.R.E. and his wife Neri are said to be onthe 18th season. The Drink Champs co-host and the Hollywood Beach, Florida juice bar owner have been together for 10 years now are perfect candidates for the show. And it isn’t for any publicized drama that the two have, but the fact we know so little about their relationship.

Looking back in the past, N.O.R.E.’s had a few arrests in the past over anger issues including punching a man in a fast food restaurant and punching a fan a decade before that. So those are old cases… fine. Does that behavior have any type of a reflection on his relationship with his wife? Well there’s only one way to find out.

Also, his mentor was the late Chris Lighty. He went from an industry titan to someone who pretty much lost it all and at the same time was also physically abusive to his wife. Is that behavior he picked up on? We’re going to find out.

As for how he likes his marriage, in a 2018 interview on The Breakfast Club he said, “Yeah, very much so… You know what it is? Love is best earned or best taken when you’re hurt. You have to actually be hurt. You can’t love heaven without going through hell–without living through hell. Success isn’t good without failure. If you only have success, you’d be the most miserable person in the world. You have to fail sometimes to [appreciate it]. It’s the same thing with love. You’ve gotta love somebody really really for real and be hurt for you to say ‘you know what, this is it. Imma chill’”

As for how he is as a father, he did an interview with the On Air Idiot’s Show where he commented on Montana Fishburne’s porn flick where he said, “Man, that’s so bad…..I got six children, I got five boys and one girl. So I imagine of it was my boys I’d probably be proud. If it’s my daughter, I’m gonna hire someone to kill her. And I think that’s the most honest answer I can give.” Harsh? Maybe but isn’t that the response most fathers would give? Pretty much.

Others on the show so far we’ve reported on so far are Teairra Mari and a mysterious man, Lyrica Anderson and her husband A1 Bentley, all from Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. Kurupt of Tha Dogg Pound was on last season with his partner at the time, Toni Calvert. Styles P of The Lox was on Season 16 with his partner Adjua Styles.
