Kim Kardashian has gone viral multiple times this year for reports of a second sex tape being out there that her ex-husband Kanye gallantly went and retrieved from Ray J to keep it from circulating. Then there’s the footage of her crying talking about how she just wanted to protect her children from this which now is being claimed to all have been a lie according to Ray J.. y’know, the guy in the original tape.
Ray J commented on a post by HollywoodUnlocked saying, ‘All of this is a lie smh – Can’t let them do this anymore – so untrue,’ in response to readers being asked if they felt Kanye was telling the truth or not. And this wasn’t the first time he’s addressed this. Back in January he talked about it on Twitter saying, “This needs to stop,” adding “I also have kids.”
On their new Hulu show The Kardashians, it was 10 hours before Kim was set to host SNL when it all went down and said “I know Kanye did this for me, but he also did this for my kids. I wanna shield them from as much as I can. And if I had the power to or if Kanye has the power to, like, that is just the most important thing to me.” She added that West’s action meant “a lot to me.”
All of this started last September when Wack 100 not only insisted there was a second sex tape but that it was better and more graphic than the first. Even Kim’s attorney said there was nothing sexual on the alleged footage that was retrieved.
Now let’s think about this. We know how the internet works and how easily people copy things. Would it make sense for Kanye to travel by plane across the country to retrieve a physical tape when Ray J could so easily have it in other formats and copies? That’s how things are in 2022. This isn’t 2001. So the storyline doesn’t even make sense. We’re on Ray J’s side with this one. If you’re going to lie, at least make it a good one. We’re just saying.
