This morning began with reports of New York Giants player Saquon Barkley’s Twitter behavior where apparently someone went into his Twitter likes to see that he had been liking porn. This occasionally happens on Instagram but that’s because it used to show the Activity of people you followed. I literally stopped liking posts for that reason. I got sick of people clocking what I was doing. And notice I said Instagram USED to show user activity. Twitter needs to do the same. I had a moment where I went back and unliked all of my inappropriate posts for reasons just like this.
Now to put in perspective, Barkley’s been at home injured with I believe a messed up ankle for a few weeks so he’s got some time on his hands. So he decided to tap Like on porn. It actually technically wasn’t porn. It was just a bare a**. There’s far worse on Twitter these days. Since none of the other platforms allow porn, it’s everywhere on Twitter. But the internet all collectively acted like 11 year olds giggling at someone who circled the word “ass” from within “class” in a hand me down textbook.
Did the story stop with post that he subsequently unliked? Of course not. He’s in a relationship so of course checking out other women on social media’s going to cause a little eyebrow raising from the girlfriend. And if it didn’t before, now that the pornstar whose tweet he was caught liking has also been reported on, there’s the possibility of her being after him since the media has alerted her that he’s checking her out which means the girlfriend’s going to be side eyeing her. The porn star in question is named Alexis Fawx and you can check out her Twitter account to see her pinned tweet to see what he likes.
The object lesson here is that this man is at home with an injury. He made it clear a few days ago he was ready to get back on the field which obviously hasn’t happened yet. If he wants to pass the time playing pocket poker til he gets the okay to play again, that’s his business. #LeaveSaquonAlone
