Rapper Slim 400 literally almost didn’t make it after being shot 9 times in a drive by which makes him an incredibly lucky guy. And he’s quite appreciative of that. He made an Instagram post thanking those who saved his life in the hospital saying, “I wanna thank the staff at the hospital for helpin me shake back” and said he owes them Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles along with Taco Mell for life. But he also had a message for those who shot him saying, “God I thank whoeva was poppin 4 buyn them shells at walmart I’m here 4 a reason Hol’Upppp.”
Now while we’re glad he’s doing better as he’s been out of ICU a couple days, he probably shouldn’t be popping off at anyone taunting them over the effectiveness of their bullets before some more comes along. But he’s okay. We get it. So far none of the culprits have been found but within time of course, this may change. He’s had 4 surgeries so far and expected to remain in the hospital for some time.
Immediately following the shooting, his friend YG told TMZ he would be visiting him and quoted a lyric of his about “staying dangerous,” referencing surviving in Los Angeles. That was immediately misconstrued by the news site as him taking shots at Slim 400’s shooters. On the other hand, he has some legal issues of his own regarding a separate shooting where a Compton shooting apparently took place in Compton that resulted in a high speed chase and a shootout with a deputy. One person was detained while another remains outstanding. YG has insisted he was in a Hollywood studio all day and nowhere near the incident. We’re going to keep our fingers crossed that these two stay as far away from bullets unless it involves protecting themselves from here on it before neither one of them remain on this Earth.
