Ariana Grande crushed Coachella these last two weekends from bringing N’Sync back together to bringing Justin Bieber on stage as a surprise guest with her last night, she does what Ariana does best and shut the stage down. Literally, she shut the stage down because she was the closing act last night. Unfortunately, everyone didn’t think so when she was hit with a lemon while performing. Understandably upset, she went right back off of stage after swearing saying “that’s because someone hit me with a lemon, sh**.” Personally, we’d prefer if she threw it back out in the audience which would have been the ultimate diva tantrum, but hey, better luck next time. Instead, being the consummate professional she is, she continued her set as if nothing happened.

But just why would someone not only hit Ariana Grande and with a lemon of all things? Well fans think a Beyonce fan did it after reports came out that she made double what Beyonce did for Coachella, $8 million when Beyonce made $4 million. That was in error because Beyonce made $4 million per weekend which was a total of $8 million. So she was basically hit based off of wrong facts. smh. They’d suck as a hit man. It was widely reported that they made the same amount of money. One of the headlines even said “Relax, Ariana Grande was not paid double the amount as Beyonce for Coachella set.”

And why was she hit with a lemon? That’s part of the name of a recent Beyonce album, Lemonade. We admit it’s a little funny in a bit of a maniacal laughing way, but if we’re at the point of throwing things at artists, we’ve gone a little too far. Fans should save their lemons to throw at artists who deserve it, like R Kelly for performing under 2 minutes during his appearances of Kodak Black for waking up in the morning. We kid, we kid… sort of.

Another reason why hitting Ariana of all people isn’t a good idea is, remember the ex she had that committed suicide or the next relationship she was in where he was acting suicidal and in both instances, people blamed her? She’s also mentioned having PTSD lately. In a series of tweets over the last few days, she she wrote how difficult performing live has been for her lately. โ€œMaking it is healing. Performing it is like reliving it all over again and it is hell. I just am sharing,โ€ she continued. โ€œItโ€™s hard and Iโ€™m trying and my soul is confused and tired and i love u. Having a routine is good for ptsd,โ€ she added. โ€œBeen readin bout it. i would be sad without the shows too. imma be ok. might change the set list a lil.โ€ She also shared, โ€œI just feel empty and i wanna have more to say / better energy to give to u and rn i donโ€™t have anything. love u. ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ’ป.โ€ That’s not someone you throw a lemon at. Do better, Beyhive.
