Sza Said She Used Crutches at the Grammys Because She Fell Out of Bed

R&B singer Sza was seen walking up to pick up her Grammy for Best Pop Duo last night when her walking with crutches caught the audience’s attention. And at one point she was seen scooting across the stage without the help of her crutches causing her to start trending where people were calling her a liar and not really hurt. But she did explain what happened afterwards in the Grammy media room.

“It’s very funny because I fell out a bed right before it was time to leave and get ready for this. Like the day before, but that’s the way it goes. Everything awesome in my life has always come with something like very random, but it just adds to the energy.” She also added that her next album is on the way soon. “It’s probably my most unisex project yet, if that makes sense,” she said. “It’s for everyone.”

Whether the internet will believe her is yet to be seen as this isn’t the first time she’s begun trending for allegedly lying. In the past she’s said she had a marine biology degree with a fan revealing that she dropped out. She said she didn’t have a television where a fan showed her sitting in front of one. She said she was “not a cake or pie person” before which was followed up with a pic of her sitting in front of a birthday cake.

Listen. At least one of those are understandable. I was a vegetarian for years and got sick of arguing about my food with people and would cheat and have meat so as to not cause trouble in front of family until I was mocked for allegedly lying about my diet. Shouldn’t we be focusing on her music anyway?
