Drew Sidora might be known for her role in BET’s The Game and now for her second season on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but she’s a bonafied singer as well. During the 5th episode of Season 14 of RHOA, Sidora mentioned a certain NBA player whose name wasn’t revealed but hinted as being Lebron James, according to castmate Kenya Moore that used to listen to her music before games. That lead to some fans of the show asking if she really sang which leads us to today’s Throwback Thursday tune, her single Til the Dawn from the 2006 film Step Up.

The song was a part of the film’s soundtrack samples Earth, Wind & Fire’s Getaway and came about 3 years before she signed a deal with Ted Lucas‘ label Slip-N-Slide records. And outside of other singles like Juke It and 2018’s Winner. Once on the arm of rapper Yung Berg, she’s been credited as being hugely instrumental to him being marketable as an artist. And outside of this throwback, Sidora’s still making music. She just revealed a preview to a new track of hers called I’ve Been Going Through So Much produced by Troy Oliver, known for writing and producing hits like Ginuwine’s Differences and Jenny from the Block and I’m Real for Jennifer Lopez. We can’t expect everyone to know the resumes of these cast members but don’t be fooled, Drew Sidora has been on.
