Rumors have been swirling that Tory Lanez has been deported back to Canada following the Megan thee Stallion shooting incident last month. It started with a Change.org petition started 3 weeks ago with nearly 20,000 signatures at this point. From there it was reported to The Jasmine Brand that he had secretly been deported where Hot 97 followed up with their sources who claimed it wasn’t true. And on top of that The Neighborhood Talk blog reported that he was spotted at a McDonald’s.
It’s important to note that his gun charge was for carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle. It was never stated that he in fact shot Megan. That’s just the sort of obvious 2+2 people have put together. Megan has never blamed him through any of this which leads us to believe she’s been covering for him as they were reportedly in a relationship according to DJ Akademiks.
Lanez’ team put out a statement to The Neighborhood Talk about the situation saying, “Obviously Tory has not been deported and is self-quarantining with his family. This is a perfect example of false information being spread regarding this case, his whereabouts and his character. He’s in good spirits and looks forward to having the truth come to light about that night and wishes nothing but the best for Meg.”
Then there’s DJ Akademiks who explained what happened from the start saying Megan was beating Tory up over getting a little too friendly with Kylie Jenner while they had been smashing. He said in the midst of her jumping him he shot her. Well apparently he has more to the story. He says Megan complained to her friends about Tory around Kylie, approached him about it since he wouldn’t have been there without her, things got heated and Kylie asked everyone to leave. He was said to be shocked at the argument when it started.
“This is where the information becomes really lost over,” says DJ Akademiks. From all of his sources, while he heard Megan put her hands on Tory, he’s since heard that wasn’t true and that she was just “verbally abusive.” He did however feel lead to “do something” about the incident. She also reportedly questioned how much of a “real n***a” he was which while unconfirmed is when he pulled the gun out to shoot a warning shot as a scare tactic. It wasn’t meant to hurt anyone. “The weapon was shot allegedly at the ground,” says Ak. “A gun was shot, hit the ground and some of the fragments hit Meg Thee Stallion. That’s important because the gun wasn’t shot directly [at her.]” Why all of this is coming out now is because AK says it’s “a little bit embarrassing” and has “gotten [Megan] to really think about it more rather than bringing it to the public.”
If it’s true that Megan wasn’t shot directly but that a warning shot misfired and she got hit with bullet fragments because her man was trying to prove he was a man, that’s worse than the original story. It kind of waters down the whole rage filled love story that went from breaking her back to breaking her foot with his gun. And yes this is embarrassing. Unless it was that good, Megan, leave him and at least find a man that’s at least 5’9 and the only shots he shoots are backshots. K?
