Traci Braxton passed away early last month with Toni Braxton opening up to Tamron Hall about what it’s like to lose her sister to cancer at just 50 years old. But the grieving process has been exacerbated allegedly with Traci’s husband and former manager Kevin Surratt exploiting her death profiting off of it, according to her sisters. A Zoom call was made about her arrangements where a source told Page Six, “Traci did not want a funeral or wake. She did not want people looking all over her body. She specifically requested to be immediately cremated.”
The unnamed source went on to say, “There was a Zoom meeting that made it clear about what she wanted, and now her husband is trying to cash in on her name.” What then happened was that Surratt held a viewing of her body anyway where it was stated her father wasn’t allowed in because his name “wasn’t on the list.” The Braxton family insider then said “He was so upset that he wasn’t on the list. Someone from the church recognized him and let him in and he had to sit in the fourth row.”
