Travis Scott Sued for Wrongful Death by a Woman Who Had a Miscarriage After AstroWorld Tragedy

Travis Scott’s legal woes are continuing following the Astroworld tragedy last November. He along with Live Nation, Scoremore Holdings and ASM Global are being sued by attendee Shanazia Williamson who says she was trampled suffering injuries to her shoulder, back, chest, leg, stomach and other parts of her body which ultimately lead to her having a miscarriage. Her lawsuit says “failure to plan, design, manage, operate, staff, and supervise the event was a direct and proximate cause of Shanazia’s injuries and death of her and Jarawd’s (her partner) unborn child.”

Texas law was cited stating “a fetus that dies as a result of negligence can be the basis of a wrongful death lawsuit. It doesn’t matter how far along the mother was in her pregnancy. It could be a fetus that isn’t viable, but the parents could still sue for wrongful death.”

Also under fire are the Kardashians whose new Hulu show is being accused of creating a new narrative to deflect backlash about their behavior during the event. They were seen singing along to Scott’s songs while the trampling occurred. Now Kendall Jenner was at Astroworld. She was seen on camera. It isn’t as though she can hide, but somehow it was insinuated on the show that she was on vacation in Miami and missed her mother Kris Jenner’s birthday dinner that occurred the same night as Astroworld.

There has been no evidence of Kendall being in Miami prior to November 12th which was an entire week after her mother’s birthday. That is highly reckless if you ask us to just completely ignore the obvious. It’s also an insult to those who suffered being trampled or worse, lost relatives to see a “reality show” involving the first family related to the artist behind the festival to just pretend it didn’t happen. Of course they don’t “have” to discuss anything but come on.. people aren’t stupid.

In other Scott news, Diddy said he is “uncancelling” Scott based on the fact that he had a similar situation years ago. “One of the things I’m doing directly is un-canceling the canceled,” he told Billboard and is inviting him to perform at the Billboard Awards this year. As for Diddy’s catastrophe, it was the 1991 City College of New York incident where 9 people died and 29 injured when people got trampled in the CCNY gymnasium. Diddy and Heavy D were co-sponsoring a celebrity basketball game with celebs like LL Cool J and Mike Tyson in attendance. There was only 1 person checking thousands of people’s tickets for an event that went on to become overcrowded. Mayor Dinkins released a 67 report at the time titled “A Failure Of Responsibility.” So if anyone would understand what Diddy is going through, it would be Diddy.
