Now that everyone’s had time to process the Wendy Williams documentary film about her life and all the crazy intricate behind the scenes secrets she’s been holding onto, an exceptionally big bombshell just hit the airwaves. Back during her radio days, her now ex-husband Kevin Hunter ordered a hit out on one of her rivals, radio host Miss Jones for talking smack about her on air.
In an interview on her Youtube channel, Miss Jones was discussing Wendy’s new movie underscoring the point that she was there for part of it. She says she found out about this threat on the first day of her vacation and stated the government did nothing about it. She also said that members of Williams’ staff knew about this and no one had the human decency to bother telling her. And the only reason she knew was because of a lawsuit Williams’ booker Nicole Spence filed.
In this lawsuit, Booker said she kept asking Hunter to stop hitting on her and he did it anyway. When she went to management on him, that’s when a settlement for $5 million came about. But that occurred mostly because allegedly Spence had evidence of threesomes she was having with Williams and her husband so of course that would muddy the waters.
We knew that Hunter was a dirty guy but not like this. Remember when NeNe Leakes accused him of trying to block her getting a show so that she wouldn’t be a rival to his wife? This guy really has a mafioso air about him.
In other news, Williams is on the dating scene and is reported to be having her team contact every publicist in town to help find her a suitable gentleman. The email came out Wednesday morning reading, “Wendy Williams IS BACK ON THE MARKET! We are looking for fun men that can handle Wendy. The brave bachelors must be 40 to 65 and in the US, but otherwise, they say, “We are casting a WIDE net.” The deadline was the very next day which means she clearly means business.
We have to admit that when Wendy had left her husband and left rehab, starting her life as a single woman, that’s the most excited we’ve ever seen her. She was absolutely thrilled talking about her new life. She has toyed with interest in being on The Real Housewives but won’t confirm. That would be a nice career addition given what she calls #NewWendy. We’re going to be keeping our fingers crossed on that one.
