Despite reports of the contrary, such as Nick Cannon possibly taking Wendy Williams’ place on her show as the host, Wendy’s actually returning. It’s been made clear that she isn’t going anywhere and her return date is March 4th. This news comes by way of the production company behind the show, Debmar-Mercury. “We can’t wait to welcome her back to her iconic purple chair on the set of her show on Monday, March 4th,” they wrote. Wendy’s been out since December to deal with complications from Graves’ disease.
Now some have speculated that her rocky marriage with husband Kevin Hunter had something to do with the break and since he’s the show’s executive producer, trouble at home can spell trouble at work. It’s no secret that he cheats. He bought his mistress that’s about 20 years younger than his wife an $800,000 mansion less than 10 miles away from his wife but considering how he makes his money with his wife, he knows not to step out too bad. Right is right, and wrong is wrong, but she’s making it work. Last year she took three weeks off from the show which is amazing for her considering how for the decade she’s been on air, up until that point she had never missed a single day.
While she’s been out, Nick Cannon, Sherri Shepherd and Jason Biggs have all taken her place as guests on the show but there’s only one Wendy and we’re sure fans will be happy to see her back next month.
