Wendy Williams left a bad taste in a lot of people’s mouths when she did a segment on the death of a TikTok star both quietly mocking his appearance, sort of relegated him as a nobody and basically summed up his existence as just a number of followers. She was trending with many calling for her show to be cancelled, people who were themselves shocked to find old footage of her on radio which in itself shows that’s likely not going to happen.
The thing about Wendy Williams is that her talk show can be summarized with her appearance with Omarosa in Season 1. She said she was showing her softer side because she was brutal back in the day. We haven’t for the most part seen that side of her since she’s been on television. But from time to time she has her moments like that in discussing TikTok star Swavy.
Swavy’s mother and older sibling Chanell Clark and Rahkim Clark spoke to TMZ about how pissed they were with Wendy and that she should give him an apology. The brother said that words cannot express how angry he is at her. And his mother broke down into tears because she watched her son die and then to turn the television on and see what they said was a false depiction of him because the story as she told it wasn’t true but it was insensitive to say the least.
